Arian Dylan was born in Oaxaca city, Mexico, in 1984. In 2008 he graduated in Visual Arts at the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado La Esmeralda. From 2012-2013 he studied a MA in Combined Artistic Languages ​​at the Instituto Universitario Nacional del Arte, Buenos Aires, Argentina. For over ten years Dylan has worked as visual creator. Has had several solo and group exhibitions, highlighted the recent «Outside-in mexican contemporary art: Presence of Oaxaca in Asia» in eastern countries like Korea and Singapure in 2013; «Unbound: A national exhibition of book art» in California, USA, in 2010 and an installation «literary Particles / Big Fish» at the Subterráneo gallery of Chihuahua, México, in 2014. In 2011 he was awarded in the contest of Design, art and sustainability ECO Creation of Architectural Digest Mexico. He has been honored with the grant Young Creators FONCA program (2010-2011) and in 2008 with the artist residency «Contemporary-Contemporary» in the Fresno Art Museum in California, USA. In 2013 he was one of the 25 featured artists for international anthology «Art made from books: altered, sculpted, carved, Transformed» by Laura Heyenga in Chronicle Books press, USA. Currently he is arts teacher for the career in Visual Art at Universidad Autonoma Benito Juarez de Oaxaca (UABJO), Mexico.
